ABOUT ATIF

Welcome to ATIF HUSSAIN’s website.

Allow me to introduce myself. I hit the big 3-0 a few years ago. I’m married and owe this website to my wife. They say behind every successful man, there is a woman; I certainly second that. She has been a great support throughout my professional life.

After six years of working in the IT industry, I opted for a career change and decided to become an ICT teacher. It wasn’t long before I landed on more senior management roles including Key Stage 3 Coordinator and acting as Deputy Head.

Although I have enjoyed teaching ICT, I believe I have a lot more to offer outside the classroom. Having said that, education in ICT remains my passion and I believe it is the way forward for schools as it can complement teaching and learning in all subjects.

I have obtained a Post Graduate Certificate in Leadership and Management and have ambitions to continue to complete a Masters in Education. I hope to bring out the best in the schools where I work.
